MOLAC (Modern Linguistics and African Cultural Promotion Centre) is a cultural and language organization based in Arusha, Tanzania, established in 1995. MOLAC is dedicated to promoting Kiswahili language, African culture, international language learning, volunteer programs, and meaningful cultural exchange experiences. We connect people from around the world with local communities through education, community engagement, and authentic Tanzanian experiences.

OUR STORY
Established in 1995
1995 → MOLAC Founded
MOLAC (Modern Linguistics and African Cultural Promotion Centre) was established in Arusha, Tanzania with the goal of promoting Kiswahili language and African culture while creating opportunities for learning and cultural exchange.
2005 → Expanded Language Programs
MOLAC expanded its educational services by introducing additional international language programs, including English, French, German, Chinese, Spanish, and other language learning opportunities using practical teaching methods.
2015 → International Volunteer Growth
MOLAC strengthened its volunteer and cultural exchange activities by welcoming international participants and creating opportunities for community engagement in schools, hospitals, and local projects.
2026 → Current Activities Today, MOLAC continues to provide Kiswahili and language-learning programs, volunteer opportunities, homestay experiences, and cultural exchange activities, while connecting local communities with people from around the world.
